I Love the idea. I read over the article and it seems like the typical first responses from “experts” regarding a project such as this. Reject it using the most obvious issues and hope they give up immediately. Here is some ammo for you. You can just as easily remove the toxic substances as the recycler can. you can hire the same companies, hire the same workers and use the same technology they are going to use to clean the pieces. As far as Liability insurance, they can easily have you sign a waiver or acquire your own liability insurance. Most of the people that are building using recycled materials run into the same issues at first. example: cargo containers, industrial buildings, old warehouses…. Don’t let these minor roadblocks get in the way of your dream.
